Over 8 years of experience in of making the best weapon HUDS in SL!
My Hope 7 HUD is a heads up display unit made to enhance any users experience. All functions of which can be found bellow.
The large left panels are the radar system and will display the user names, or display names of other avatars in the same region as you. You can click on a name to lock them into the HUD as a target. Locking someone as a target will allow you to attack them, or assist them as you want.
The right panels are all of your menu options. The smaller strip of panels to the has some small buttons which we will go over now. The small black minus button will minimize the all of the HUD buttons and hide the HUD. The small plus button will show the HUD again. The stop sign will stop all active assist features, attacks, and anything else the hud might be doing. Click safe will prevent you from clicking on anything but the HUD itself. The blue up arrow will allow you to adjust the floating text if it is not aligned on your screen. The blue down arrow will do the same, but align the floating text downward instead. The last of the small buttons are the < and > arrows bellow the HUD. The left < takes you to page one of the radar, and the > takes you to page two. The radar paging system is still in beta, so if you notice any issues please tell me.
Now that the small buttons are covered, we will cover each of the main menu options in order.
1.) reset – Resets the HUD.
2.) end – Ends all attacks.
3.) end module – Ends all modules that are active.
4.) end no rez – Ends all active no rez functions and attacks.
5.) end all – Does all the above end commands at once.
6.) shield – Takes you to the shields menu.
End shields
auto npv – When active, auto npv will place a npv down upon log in, HUD wear, or sim change.
Npv – Makes you unable to be harmed by anything that would have physical contact with your av, follow you, or harm you in anyway. Uses RLV to automatically sit you on rez if you have a viewer that supports this. The npv supports reflections (targeting someone and moving to their position to make their own attacks attack them, or use someone else attacks to attack someone else).
Npv Target – Selects the target locked into the HUD to be followed by the npv. You can then use the left, right, up, down, forward, and back to to move your avatars physical position where it apears on the npv (IE offsets to “escape” attacks).
Npv avoid – The npv will automatically attempt to dodge physical objects that are moving quickly at your avatar. This can get a bit weird with reflect on at the same time, so I recommend having only one or the other on at a time. Click once to enable and again ti disable.
End reflect – ends all npv targets and offset animations.
Repel shield – A physical objects and avatar shield that uses push to shove any would be attackers away.
Smart shield – A physical objects and avatar shield that has its own interceptors (disc like protection objects made to add extra layers of protection that appear when physical threats or avatars are near).
Ow npv – Off world npv, a little jittery, but it will let you go off world, under the ground, or out of bounds from the sim. This 100% can protect you from any attacks, as attacks cannot go off world.
Friendly npv – Offers a npv to the target locked into the HUD. This way you can help defend a friend.
I on/off – Toggles interceptors on and off, interceptors are disc like objects that pop out to protect your avatar from physical threats and other avatars. Radius 20, radius 60, and radius 96 are the distances in meters you can select for interceptors to scan for threats. Longer away means more things can be detected, but due to censor limits only the first 16 objects can be defended from. So if you want to stop things like prim based bullets, use 96 meters, for clusters or physical followers, use the 20 to 60 meter radius. You can set the interceptors to intercept objects, avatars, or both. Radius 60, 96, and the intercept options are on shields page 2

Trick orbit – A passive attack similar to a deformer. Surrounds the target. When clicked it uses sit and animations to glitch the target to 4,000 meters.
KFM orbit – Key frame motion based orbiter that does not need push and should break most, if not all move locks. Very awesome and very nasty.
KFM crush – The reverse of the KFM orbit and uses key framed motion to slam the targeted avatar down through the floor of the region.
Force orbit – A force based orbiter. This is here for if people are unable to be KFM orbited due to limitations with certain float mechanics that linden lab made KFM unable to effect. Also does not need push. This is basically an alternative to FM orbiting. Not as strong, but tends to work in situations where KFM or push based orbiting is unable to be used.

Neg gravity – Uses push to force all objects and avatars around the target (includes the target) downwards. More aggressive than vortex as it also includes objects. The only draw back to this is sensors only allow for 16 targets at a time. So if you are trying to only hit avatars use vortex instead.
11.) Lag based attacks – These are a last resort only to be used against truly hated targets, or griefers. I won’t explain each attack as they are intended to destroy the target with extreme malice.
